Acronis True Image Enterprise Server allows you to create the exact server disk image for complete server backup providing organizations with the most comprehensive, reliable, and cost effective server protection.

The server disk backup file includes all the server disk data including system, programs, databases, and the like.

Plesk has integration with Acronis True Image. You can set up either one-time or recurring backup of server's hard drives via Plesk control panel interface. Presently, restoring of backup data is possible only via separate Acronis True Image utilities. Refer to its help for more information on this matter.

To set up Acronis True Image backup, click the Acronis True Image icon on the Server Administration page.

The current implementation of this feature in Plesk allows adding only one task for recurring backup. The parameters of the current task are shown at the bottom of the page.

To set up properties of recurring backup, press the Preferences button. To perform one-time backup, press the Backup Now button. In both cases the screen presenting available parameters will appear.

If you are configuring recurring backup, the Enable recurring backup checkbox should be set for the backup to be active. Also, you should specify the recurrence period using the appropriate drop-down lists.

The other settings are common for both recurring and one-time backups.

Acronis True Image performs backup of whole hard drive partitions. You should choose the desired ones using the corresponding checkboxes in the Partitions for backup table.

Acronis True Image can compress the backup files it creates. To handle compression level, use the corresponding drop-down list.

You may set password on the archive with backup. To do it, enter the password and its confirmation in the corresponding fields.

Acronis True Image allows creating incremental backups, when files added since the last backup are simply added to an old backup archive, thus eliminating the need to backup information, which was not changed. To enable such mode, set the Incremental backup checkbox.

The resulting file with backup data can be either stored on your local disk or on a network location. In both cases, you must provide the filename (along with the full network or local path) in the Archive filename with full path edit field. File names and paths should be specified in the standard Windows notation (C:\folder1\folder2\filename.extension for local files and \\computer_name\path\filename.extension for network files). Additionally, if network storage was selected, you should supply the correct login and password for the account on a remote machine.

When finished with editing of parameters, press OK to start the backup process in case you chose one-time backup, or to submit the information on recurring backup to Acronis True Image.
