Plesk provides four tiers of administration: admin, client, domain, and mail name user. All can perform various tasks at remote locations via any standard Internet browser. Being a Client, you are provided with the following management capabilities:
- Create and manage domains and hosting accounts,
- Create and manage subdomains,
- Manage IP pool and SSL certificates,
- Configure DNS zone settings for domains,
- Use domain templates and virtual host skeletons designed to facilitate creation of domains,
- Customize your control panel environment with skins, logo, and custom hyperlinked buttons,
- Access domain registration and management services, SSL certificates and domain tools offered by MyPlesk.com,
- View domain reports and traffic usage statistics,
- Set up domain-level user access,
- Back up/restore domains,
- Manage mail accounts and mailing lists,
- Create, edit, and delete domain web users, manage scripting capabilities,
- Create, edit, and delete protected directories, manage directory users, set up access with SSL or standard http,
- Set up FTP services,
- Manage databases: create, edit, and delete multiple databases and manage database users,
- Deploy and manage site applications,
- Handle files and directories using File Manager,
- Access FrontPage (and FrontPage over SSL) directly from the control panel,
- Manage log files and configure log rotation options,
- Manage task scheduler,
- Manage user sessions,
- Use the Help Desk to get technical assistance.
