All Web Hosting solutions on our home page have convenient order buttons which will take you to our online shopping cart where you can proceed through to payment.
The following tutorial will guide you through ordering your new AUSWEB hosting solution and domain name(s)!
AUSWEB Shopping Cart - Ordering Web Hosting and Domain Names
After clicking one of the order buttons on the AUSWEB website (or from your Client Area if you are an existing customer), you will be taken to our online shopping cart:
You will be taken to the corresponding category for the order link, for example cPanel Web Hosting, where you can select the plan you wish to signup for.
If you wish to register or transfer domain names you should visit our domains area: http://ausweb.com.au/domain-names/
You can also click the "Domain Registration" link at the bottom of the page.
You can view all AUSWEB Hosting services available, by clicking on the "Categories" drop down menu. All of our Web Hosting solutions from cPanel Hosting to Dedicated Servers will be selectable, as well as Product Addons.
Step 1: Web Hosting Plan.
As above, Select the hosting package you wish to signup for and hit the click to continue button!
Step 2: Domain Name.
Your hosting service will require a domain name. You will see three options for your domain name -
Option 1) I want AUSWEB Web Hosting to register a new domain for me
Enter your desired domain name and extension, select click to continue and our domain system will check the availability of your choice or provide some alternates such as .net (You can continue checking as many times as you like, until your domain name choice is available). When you have the option you want, tick the "Availble! Order Now" box and select your desired registration period. Then select click to continue again.
Option 2) I want to transfer my domain to AUSWEB Web Hosting
If you have a currently registered domain, that you wish to transfer to AUSWEB, select this option. Type in your domain name and you should see "Available! Order Now", this simply means it is a currently registered domain and is availble for transfer! Domains cannot be transferred within the first 60days or registration or any previous transfer. For further information visit our domain names tutorials. You will also be required to submit a domain authorization code (aka EPP code), which is required for transfer.
Option 3) I will update my nameservers on an existing domain.
If you have a currently registered domain with another domain registrar and do not wish to transfer, enter your domain and select this option. Once you have signed up for your hosting plan, you will receive nameserver details, which you can manage with your current domain registrar.
Step 3: Product Details.
Here you will see the available billing cycle options for your chosen plan as well as configurable options, such as additional addons. You can also order these at any time after signup. When done, select click to continue!
Step 4: Shopping Cart Contents.
Here you will see the items in your shopping cart eg. your chosen Web Hosting plan and/or domain(s) with the price and total. After making sure your order is correct, you can select "Continue to Checkout" or "Start Over" to re-do your order.
Step 5: Complete Order
If your a new customer, enter your personal details and contact information including email address.
If you are an existing customer, you can login using your Client Area details.
Select your payment method, either credit card or PayPal.
Enter additional information, such as domain authorization codes.
Read our Terms of Service, and tick the box before clicking on Complete Order!
Step 6: Payment and Checkout
Here you can confirm your personal details and enter your selected payment information.
When everything is entered correctly, select click to continue and your payment will be processed securely via our secure payment gateway.
